Somers Point Hockey requires all head coaches and assistant coaches to comply with the Association's Concussion Policy, which can be found here (under development).  

 

 

MANDATORY CONCUSSION TRAINING COURSE 

 

All coaches are required to compete the CDC's free online Concussion Training.  By taking this free online course and using what you learn, you will be well positioned to improve the culture of concussion in our program. Your actions will help create a safer environment for our young athletes so that they can stay healthy, active, and thrive - both on and off the court.

 

Once you complete the training and quiz, please print out the certificate and provide it to your head coach or the Division Coordinator.  You will need to complete this training prior to taking the bench.  Any questions, please email us at somerspthockey@gmail.com.  Thanks!
